About Me
Interests
I’m a guy who likes everything. I’ve always been interested in technical stuff (science, electronics, programming), but also art (music, drawing, 3D-rendering, wood-work) and various types of sports (Acrobatics/Parkour, Bouldering, Judo/Jiu-Jutsu, Freediving). I work with computers and electronics professionally.
Litterature
Also I’ve always enjoyed reading. Some fiction (Hardy Boys, Narnia, LOTR etc.), but mostly science/technical stuff or religion/philosophy/logic. I have a small goal of reading the major religious texts of the world. As a Christian I’m already familiar with the Bible and the earliest church fathers, but I’m also brushing up on the quran, the bhagavad gita (part of the vedic tradition), and might also have a look at the sutta’s at some point. With regards to Judaism, I’m already familiar with what constitutes the Tanakh by virtue of the Christian Old-Testament (allthough we also include books from the greek Septuagint), but I’m not familiar with the Talmud. I am not familiar with Islamic Hadiths either. My interest is partly due to living in a very multi-cultural society (Norway that is). I want to understand how and why different people live and think as they do.
Language
Tangential to my interest in litterature is also my interest in language. I’m very familiar with Norwegian and English, but I’m working especially on my Latin and Greek when I have time. After that I have Old Norse, Hebrew and Arabic on my list. At some point I probably also want to learn a Slavic language.
Food & Stuff
I’ve realized making food is nice (after I moved out and had to make it work). My interest has grown for learning to make it from scratch (a sickness I have in general). This is so that it will be easier to start growing it myself at some point.

Generally I don’t like conventional social media. I do have accounts on some platforms but stay away from most of them. I will grab the opportunity to delete my account if the “networking effect” looses it’s grip (with some exceptions). I also don’t post much but my mail here as I only want people I know in real life to be able to contact me otherwise.
Still I’m interested in exploring good alternatives. My go-to is Signal (a reasonable middle-ground in my opinion), though I would have used Session if it was more reliable. I’m also interested in XMPP-based solutions like Prosody and Snikket though I haven’t gotten to play with them yet.
